Sectional Chart
An aeronautical chart published by the FAA at a scale of 1:500,000 that depicts terrain, airports, airspace boundaries, navigation aids, obstacles, and other information essential for VFR flight. Sectional charts are the primary planning and navigation tool for visual pilots and are updated every 56 days.
